SMPPL- Annual maintenance & other works done In-house

At Mannapitlu SMPPL plant the following cleaning and maintenance works were carried out in-house by the power house staff :

• Cleaning and Painting EOT Crane done in-house
• Pipe materials which are kept at scrap yard were utilized for drainage purpose of dewatering pump discharge at tailrace approach road
• Segregation and storage of scrap and usable Materials
• Bends & Pipe materials which were near WCS shifted to scrap/ store yard
• Rail tracks and lifting beam shifted to safe place which are lying in river bed
• Cleaning and painting of ODY Fencing, radial gate hoist mechanism cover hood control panels & Weir Intake (Dam) Hand Rail
• Aux. Transformer yard fencing cleaning and painting
• Main Gate and Fencing cleaning and painting
• Dam motors (which were reconditioned) & other materials storage arrangement
• Cleaning of In-take gate Groove for lowering of Intake gates
• Annual Maintenance of Generator , Thordon Bearing , Generator Bearing, Turbine OPU , Aux. transformers, Generator LOS & 11 KV Switch gear, NGT & LAVT Panel
• Inspection of Turbine shaft coupling bolts , Gear wheel and Pinion of Gear box
• Cooling Water System repair (C/W header damaged inlet pipe replacement carried out )
• Routine Annual Maintenance of ODY Equipment's
• ODY Equipment's repair (Unit # 1 Gen. Transformer LV Bushing leakage arrested and Copper stud replaced , Gen. Transformer LV Bushing leakage arrested and Copper stud replaced)
